Many university students find themselves spending a significant portion of their college career at the on-campus library since it is a free space for individual or collaborative focus, offers an abundance of resources for projects and papers, and has computers readily available. Due to Covid-19, university libraries and public libraries have put tighter restrictions in place to keep the public, students, faculty and staff safe.

While some libraries are operating at a decreased occupancy, some are still only offering curbside pickup, scheduled appointments, or are closed completely.
